The HD-TX is an XLR transmitter that is truly unique and different. Its compact form factor makes it lightweight enough for boompoles and when combined with a shotgun mic, its built-in recorder and headphone jack make it so you don’t need any other sound gear to capture great audio.
$249
When the HD-TX is plugged into a phantom-powered microphone, it can transmit and record simultaneously. Never worry about RF signal interference ever again. The built-in audio recorder ensures that you will always have a back-up.
The HD-TX is the most powerful XLR 2.4GHz transmitter on the market. It has 5 different settings to give you complete control over your RF output power: 10mW, 25mW, 50mW, 100mW, AUTO. This allows you to balance wireless range and battery consumption depending on the circumstances of your film set.
The HD-TX also features a locking 3.5mm jack so you can also use it as a lavalier bodypack transmitter in a pinch. Mount the device to your talent with the included belt clip case and you are ready to go.
The HD-TX features 4 safeguards to make sure the audio you recorded doesn’t get corrupted.
-Built-in battery prevents accidental shutdowns due to an opened battery door
-Automatically stops recording and saves your file when the power-down command has been issued
-Predictable battery metering automatically sends the power-down command to your recorder long before your battery dies, preventing mid-roll power outages
-Lock screen prevents the stop button from accidentally being pressed mid-record
The HD-TX can record days of audio before you have to swap microSD cards.
-Max Card Size – 128GB
-Card Type – microSD*
-Card Format – FAT32, exFAT
-Max File Size – 2GB; safe and automatic file segmentation for long recording takes
-File Type – 24-bit/48kHz Uncompressed PCM WAV
*Not compatible with Sandisk MicroSD/TF cards
The HD-TX allows you to play back files, rename them, and delete takes. File names are determined by the USER ID assigned to the HD-TX, so if multiple units are being used, file management in post production stays organized. You can also format your microSD card and transfer files to your PC all in the menu of the HD-TX.

Sounds like your screen lock has engaged. Press and hold the Up and Down buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to unlock your screen.
Add some High-Frequency Boost in the TX menu to increase the high frequency and make your audio sound brighter and more clear.
Make sure when you are using transmitters that are paired to different receivers that you use the USB-C Master/Slave Sync cable. Plug in the USB-C Master/Slave Sync cable to both receivers to sync them up. This will help prevent your transmitters from hopping to the same frequency at the same time.
Make sure your antenna is screwed all the way on. Try to make sure the bend of the transmitter’s antenna is away from the human body – this alone will increase the efficiency of the transmitter by 25%. Make sure you are not standing within 5 meters of the WiFi router – a lot of WiFi routers have bad RF spray that affects all of the 2.4GHz channels. Keep your cell phone away from your HD-TX as it will affect your signal range. Lastly make sure you don’t use the same USER ID on more than one transmitter. The USER ID is used to encrypt and decode your signals and having multiple units with the same USER ID will confuse your receiver’s ability to decode the signal.
Make sure you are using a USB drive that is formatted for FAT32. Also insert your drive after you’ve entered the update menu but before you upload the update file. Make sure you have placed the .bin files on the root of the USB drive.
Some brands of lavaliers do not recommend using their lavaliers with 100% digital systems like the Deity Connect or the Sennheiser AVX. This is due to their lavaliers’ lack of shielding in the cable. You can either reduce the RF Power on your TX to see if this helps reduce the interference noise or change to a lavalier that was designed for use with a digital wireless system.
